Ground Truth Trekking: Jonesville Mine

Welcome 2011, this is going to be a busy year to save our valley.  Two coal strip mining companies have exploratory leases to mine Wishbone Hill.  There is currently only one active coal mine in Healy, Alaska, and the nearest residents live 5 miles away.

Join the local grass roots effort to save our communities from the threats of Coal Strip Mining and Coal Bed Methane by attending the Outreach Meeting January 10th, 7-9 pm at MTA in Palmer, Alaska.
